Robbi Grayson
For more than 35 years, Robbi Grayson has been a driving force in the plastic surgery, aesthetic medical, wellness, and longevity industries. As a seasoned owner, distributor, educator, and consultant, she has dedicated her career to helping physicians and practice owners design, build, and grow the businesses of their dreams.
Robbi’s expertise spans every facet of the industry—product manufacturing, sales, leadership, management, and new practice development. She is widely recognized as a pioneer in the U.S. spa and skincare market and a trusted expert in the aesthetic medical field. Her consulting approach is hands-on and results-driven, built around identifying opportunities, creating structure, and implementing measurable systems that maximize profitability and team performance.
In 1987, Robbi conceptualized and opened one of the first day spas in the United States—Charles Grayson European Spa Salon—growing it into a multi-million-dollar organization with double-digit profits and a team of 75 before selling to Private Equity. She later founded Skin and Spa Concepts, an importing and distribution company providing education, facility design, project management, and consulting to the spa and aesthetics industries.
Over the years, Robbi has served in leadership roles with several of the industry’s most influential consulting firms, including Acara Partners, Terri Ross Consulting, and the development of the APX Platform. Through these roles, she has contributed to the launch, growth, and success of more than 200 aesthetic medical, plastic surgery, dermatology, and wellness practices across the country—guiding each through feasibility, operations, and profitability. Most recently, through her work with Clarity Performance (formerly Engage Technologies), Robbi created the SMAP – Start-Up Medical Aesthetic Practice Program.
In addition to her consulting practice, Robbi currently serves as Fractional COO for Stark MD Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics Center, where she leads business strategy, operations, and growth initiatives. She is also highly experienced in ASC (Ambulatory Surgical Center) feasibility studies and startup cost modeling, helping physicians evaluate, structure, and launch surgical ventures that align with financial sustainability and long-term profitability.
Her consulting philosophy is grounded in the belief that hope is not a strategy—success requires systems, accountability, and clear measurement. Robbi’s clients value her strategic insight, authenticity, and ability to unite teams behind a shared vision for growth.
Beyond her professional achievements, Robbi’s story reflects a lifelong passion for learning, creativity, and the pursuit of excellence. She began her career in dentistry as a Registered Dental Hygienist before studying esthetics and thalassotherapy in Paris and Aix-en-Provence, where she earned the Certificat de Conseillere en Beauté. She also studied interior design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh—a foundation that continues to inform her aesthetic and spatial sensibilities in practice design.
Robbi is a founding member and the first President of the North Carolina Dance Theatre Corps de Ballet and has served on the boards of both the North Carolina Dance Theatre and the Charlotte Botanical Society (now Ribbon Walk Nature Preserve).
She currently divides her time between Pennsylvania and Connecticut, where she lives on a small farm surrounded by gardens, animals, and the natural beauty that inspires her. Outside of consulting, she is a passionate gardener, devoted to the arts, and continually exploring the intersection of beauty, wellness, and longevity in both business and life.
Donna AlleN
For more than three decades, Donna Walker has been a driving force in the medical aesthetics, beauty, and wellness industry. Known for her strategic leadership, operational excellence, and deep commitment to building people-first businesses, Donna brings a rare combination of heart and precision to everything she does.
Her journey began in an unexpected place—the world of music. A classically trained cellist who earned a scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Donna learned early the power of discipline, collaboration, and creativity. Those same qualities have guided her throughout her career, helping her build, lead, and transform some of the most respected organizations in aesthetics.
Donna’s philosophy is simple: a company’s greatest asset is its people. She believes that culture drives performance and that true profitability is built on a foundation of clarity, accountability, and leadership. Her approach blends data-driven strategy with a deep understanding of human behavior—empowering owners and teams to work in harmony toward shared success.
Before launching their own consulting service, Donna led a talented team as Operations Manager for a prominent medical spa in Charlotte, North Carolina. Later, she joined her longtime mentor and friend, Robbi Grayson, at a consulting company, where she found the opportunity to expand her impact and help even more practices reach their full potential.
Today, through her work with Robbi Grayson & Associates, Donna helps new and established practices create strong business foundations, develop leadership and culture, optimize performance through key metrics, and design service portfolios that align with both profitability and patient experience.
When she’s not consulting, you’ll find Donna tending her garden and creating her own little oasis in Charlotte. She’s a lifelong learner with a passion for exploring world history, culture, and the stories that connect people everywhere.
