Leveraging more than 70 years of combined experience in the aesthetic and wellness space, the firm delivers solutions that maximize profitability, ensure regulatory compliance, and cultivate outstanding patient experiences across aesthetic medical, plastic surgery, dermatology, and wellness practices.
Robbi Grayson
Founder Robbi Grayson brings a rare combination of entrepreneurial experience, operational rigor, and strategic insight. Her career in aesthetics and wellness began in 1987, when she conceptualized and opened one of the first day spas in the United States. Under her leadership, Charles Grayson European Spa Salon grew into a multi-million-dollar organization with double-digit profitability and a team of 75 before being successfully sold to private equity.
Over the course of her career, Robbi has held senior leadership and advisory roles with some of the industry’s most influential consulting organizations, including Acara Partners and Terri Ross Consulting, and was a ground-floor contributor to the development of the APX Platform. Through these roles—and now through Robbi Grayson & Associates—she has contributed to the launch, repositioning, and growth of more than 200 aesthetic medical, plastic surgery, dermatology, ASC, and wellness practices across the United States and internationally.
Robbi’s work spans single-site startups, multi-location platforms, physician-owned practices, and private equity–backed organizations.
Most recently, through her work with Clarity Performance (formerly Engage Technologies), Robbi created the SMAP™ – Start-Up Medical Aesthetic Practice Program, a structured, data-driven framework designed to support physicians and investors through:

Robbi divides her time between Pennsylvania, where she serves as Fractional COO for StarkMD Plastic Surgery, and Connecticut, where she maintains a former small farm surrounded by gardens, animals, and the natural environment that inspires her work. Outside of consulting, she is an avid gardener, a devoted balletomane, and continues to explore the evolving intersection of beauty, wellness, and longevity—both in business and in life.
Donna AlleN
Donna Allen is a seasoned leader in the medical aesthetics, beauty, and wellness industry, with more than 30 years of experience driving growth through strong operations, thoughtful strategy, and people-first leadership.
Her career began at the front desk of the award-winning Charles Grayson Spa and Salon, where she quickly discovered a passion for operations and organizational leadership. She went on to serve in senior roles including Operations Manager, Regional Director, and Vice President of Operations for a Canadian-based company, successfully guiding multiple mergers and acquisitions with exceptional team retention and operational stability.
Donna is known for her belief that culture drives performance. Her approach blends data-driven strategy with a deep understanding of human behavior—helping practices build clarity, accountability, and sustainable profitability.
Today, through Robbi Grayson & Associates, Donna partners with new and established practices to build strong business foundations, develop leadership and culture, optimize performance through key metrics, and design service portfolios that align profitability with patient experience.
Outside of her professional work, Donna enjoys gardening and creating peaceful, welcoming spaces that bring people together. She has a deep appreciation for world history, culture, and the places where stories, traditions, and human connection intersect—interests that naturally reflect her belief that the strongest businesses, like the strongest communities, are built on meaningful connection.
Lori Ricci
Lori Ricci is a dedicated expert in the aesthetics industry, with a passion for helping practices thrive through operational excellence and a people-first mindset. With over 30 years of experience spanning retail, healthcare, and medical aesthetics, Lori brings a unique blend of strategic insight and compassionate leadership to every partnership.
Her journey began at Price Club and Costco, where she quickly advanced into leadership roles, opening stores nationwide and developing high-performing teams. Those early years instilled in her a deep understanding of business operations, customer care, and team development—foundations she continues to build upon today.
Transitioning into healthcare, Lori applied her skills to orthodontic practice management before embracing the world of plastic surgery and medical aesthetics. She’s held key roles overseeing operations, marketing, and strategy—always driven by data, KPIs, and staff empowerment to foster growth and sustainability.
Now, as a Practice Development Consultant, Lori partners with physicians and teams to craft customized solutions that align business goals with a positive, patient-centered culture. Her approach combines analytical precision with empathy—nurturing the human side of success while optimizing systems for long-term excellence.
Born and raised in San Diego, Lori now resides in Northern California with her family. She loves traveling, connecting, and inspiring others—bringing warmth, insight, and purpose to everything she does.
